My identity as an artist has formed through a rich range of experiences I have acquired while living in different countries. The difference in spoken language as well as in mentality has pursued me for years. In my work I’m constantly searching and developing a kind of “common” language where symbols and metaphors are drawn from myths, believes and folk-tales from various cultures across the world. Photography for me is a way of capturing something that lies beneath the surface, something that could hardly be expressed in words. I’m also interested in the crossing boundaries between documentary and fiction.
