Traveling in space and time, Céline Gaille interprets in different manners the situations that come to her to create an elegant, romantic and dark mythology. Based in the South of France, she lived in Lisbon, Paris, Rome and in New York, traveled in East Europe and Russia. In this b&w work "Seuls au Monde", she explores the human condition of loneliness and uncanny presence to the world. The boundary between the distant documentary observation and the personal closeness to her subject is very thin, as she considers that the recording of the reality may not be completed without their common awareness. In 2016, she published her first photographic book "Accepte-le, Un album portugais 1919-1979", The Eyes Publishing.
