“Justin Case”

I come from the graffiti world. I started painting the streets when I was a teenager. As years went by, my obsession with tagging became love for calligraphy, I started spending more time indoors, and reduced the time devoted to my vandalizing habits. I spent more time documenting graffiti pieces than making them. Besides the finished pieces, I also started taking pictures of artists in action. Following my desire of capturing and spreading this new artistic movement, one day I was asked to censor the faces of some artists worried about preserving their anonymity in images captured while they were committing acts of vandalism. I started experimenting to find some advanced censoring systems to avoid using the typical pixelisation, which I found completely dull and made all my pictures look like police footage. This search for innovative censoring systems transformed me into a digital plastic surgeon constantly looking for new specimens willing to subject themselves to my photographic experiments.
